Adult Basic Education ESL
The Adult Basic Education ESL program provides ESL classes to non-native English speaking immigrants, refugees, and citizens
Learn listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
We offer
- 6 levels --Beginning Literacy through Advanced
- Day, afternoon and evening schedules--choices include 7:30 am, 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 4:50 / 5:10 pm, and 7:30 pm in fall, winter or spring
- Summer classes are at 8:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm

- ESL Skills Lab--for students in Level 1-4
- ESL Computer lab--for students in Level 4-6
- ESL Grammar and Writing lab--for students in Level 5-6
- Prep for Allied Health Education (ESL 062) to prepare for the college's Allied Health Education certificate programs
- Prep for Early Childhood Education (ESL 063) to prepare for a certificate or degree in ECE
- Introduction to College (ESL 095)--for ABE ESL students to learn about community college programs and course requirements
- Advising for Transitions to College -- Contact the ESL Transitions Advisor in MUK 324 at 425-640-1773.
Tuition is $25 per quarter.
Registration Procedures
Call 425-640-1478 for advising information and directions. New students will see an ESL advisor in Mukilteo Hall, room 309.
